Kettlebell Sport (aka Girevoy Sport or GS), is the distilled essence of kettlebell training. Developed in Russia, GS is a sport made up of 10 minute sets in whichthe lifter’s goal is to achieve as many repetitions of their chosen movement as possible. This relatively new sport is attracting highly committed athletes from all ages and from all over the world.
If you’ve ever lifted kettlebells or seen the late night infomercials, this is a whole different ballgame. Kettlebells are powerful tools that develop strength, stamina, and coordination. GS may not be a sport for the faint of heart, but its movements are easily accessible to anyone. While initially simple to learn, they will continually challenge you as you refine technique and conditioning. GS distills your training to a lean program of hard hitting workouts that build strength, burn loads of fat and substantially increases flexibility at the same time.
Even for those who don’t aspire to get up on the platform in competition, these specific lifts and training provide an amazing vehicle for developing personal focus, drive and a huge sense of accomplishment while demolishing your fitness goals.
For those that do have aspirations to compete, GS competitions are hosted all over The States by various organizations and will very soon be making their way here to Hawai’i! My goal is to prepare each and every person with the technique and conditioning to stand up and compete with confidence amongst their fellow competitors

Contemporary trends in fitness are moving towards training you, the client as an athlete and using the body as one unified system. GS has always taken this idea a step further. Train the body as a whole, then take that whole and make it as strong, lean and efficient as possible!
